Thereafter a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in FCT, Abuja, he talked to reporters. The incident, as well as the country’ s instability, is troubling, according to the Governor.
President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Gov. Ganduje, wants a more secured and safe country, Nigeria, and that he believes a new policy will be established with the appointment of new service chiefs.
He said, ” Governors aren’ t the only ones who have been targeted by these criminals, and this is a huge problem. As it stands, Anyone in Nigeria who is attacked should be concerned, because life is life. ”
“The government is concerned because a governor is supposed to have security protection, let alone an ordinary citizen who does not, ” Gov. Ganduje explained.
Governor Ganduje called the situation ” severe” and ” unfortunate, ” but expressed confidence that Nigeria s s problems will be resolved.
Christian leaders have also requested that security forces investigate the Ortom attack, apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators.
