According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, to be eligible, artists are required to have released their first record 25 years prior to induction.

Unfortunately the Nigerian iconic singer did not make the list, and Nigerian celebrities as well as fans have been condemning the decision, one of such personalities is Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

In a Twitter post, the TV host said that despite the result, Fela will always be in the Hall of Fame of Nigerians and fans.

He wrote; ”Fela dey our own Hall of Fame. Ndi ara!”
