American Disc Jockey and producer, Khaled Mohamed Khaled popularly known as DJ Khaled just couldn’t hold back the tears while celebrating his latest chart achievement on Sunday.
His new album ”Khaled Khaled” hit the No. 1 spot on Billboard 200 with 93,000 equivalent units in total.
This means the 14-track project garnered 14,000 actual sales and 76,000 streaming equivalents (from just under 107 million plays).
DJ Khaled has now hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 three times in his career.
Taking to his Twitter account to celebrate, he shed tears of joy in a video shared on his official account.
”I cried many nights. Tears of JOY and Pain making this album. Everyone’s beautiful word really touched my heart.
God is Great! #KHALEDKHALED #1 album in the country @billboard I told my team I have them permission to film everything. I want my fans to see the real. Just be,” the record producer captioned the clip of him crying.
The album was released on April 30 via We the Best/Epic Records, and features top artistes like Jay Z, Drake, Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber.
